Tevis Post is dedicated to those interested in the Tevis Ride.  Our goal is to help everyone who supports the ride and or riders to achieve their goal!  It would be a great pleasure to see everybody that challenges the course to take home a buckle or another certificate as the case may be, after all it only takes one  buckle to hold up your pants.  However I think everyone should have at least two buckles.  One for dress and one for general wear.  The dress one is nice and shiny so it looks good when you are dressed up for special events. Please post your feedback here and I believe that by sharing our stories and situations we can all gain.  I will try to answer any questions as well as others are welcome to post to the blog. Many questions can be answered simply by watching my video. But please remember that I'm happy to answer your questions personally.  To contact me write: potato@jps.net I'd like to offer to anyone who signs up for my newsletter a free download of my 2005 DVD Potato's Endurance Tips. If you are new at the sport or if you just want to hear my viewpoint. This last season gained me my 2000 mile buckle, so I do have a little experience in the Tevis Cup competition. I also lease my champion horses to riders. Sometimes this trumps my desire to win or even place. So watch my video and listen to my advice, especially if you have never entered the Tevis Cup competition. www.robertexter.com

  WELCOME TO THE TEVIS POST

There has been a change in schedule:  The Tevis Board has

rescheduled the Tevis ride for October 8th", a precedent

that has never been done before. Rescheduling so late is because

of numerous challenges and all were driven further by the latest

storms. The coming Tevis ride will definitely go down in history.

note: In Tevis Cup Boot Camp you will receive my experience!
